My Approach To Therapy

A more clinical answer: I favor client-centered therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, psychodynamic theories, and attachment style counseling. And while some understandably long for a quick fix to feeling better, I find the most satisfying and long-lasting change happens when you’re willing to dig in deep and get to the root of the problem by exploring patterns that often began in childhood.
Couples therapy can be beneficial for learning better communication skills, understanding your partner on a deeper level, and/or reconnecting to one another.
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing is a type of therapy that helps to access negative memories and facilitates the processing of these memories to bring them to an adaptive resolution.
